Biographie de Jay O. Sanders

Jay Olcutt Sanders (né le 16 avril 1953) est un acteur américain. Il est connu pour ses rôles à la télévision dans le rôle de Bill Weller dans Blindspot, Jack Bryant dans Manhunt, le chef Tom Lidell dans The Sinner, le détective John Maynard dans Widows, le capitaine Joseph Hannah dans Law & Order: Criminal Intent et l'avocat de la mafia Steven Kordo dans la série policière Crime Story de NBC (1986-1988), ainsi que pour ses rôles au cinéma dans The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Green Lantern (2011) et les films d'Alex Cross avec Morgan Freeman.

Il est apparu dans de nombreux autres films notables, notamment Glory (1989), Mr. Destiny (1990), JFK (1991), Angels in the Outfield (1994), The Big Green (1995), Daylight (1996), The Matchmaker (1997), For Richer or Poorer (1997), Tumbleweeds (1999), Music of the Heart (1999), Half Nelson (2006), Cadillac Records (2008) et Revolutionary Road (2008).

Il est également connu comme le narrateur de la série PBS Wide Angle de 2002 à 2009 et a servi de narrateur pour un certain nombre d'épisodes de Nova et d'émissions spéciales documentaires à partir de 2007.

Il est la voix de DS McKenna dans la série de jeux vidéo Red Dead Redemption.
