Peter Hyams (né le 26 juillet 1943) est un scénariste, réalisateur et directeur de la photographie américain, probablement mieux connu pour avoir réalisé le film d'aventure de science-fiction 2010 (la suite de 2001 : L'Odyssée de l'espace de Stanley Kubrick) en 1984, Capricorn One, l'adaptation de bande dessinée Timecop et le film d'horreur/action d'Arnold Schwarzenegger End of Days.
